We’re not hunting wabbits, we’re hunting cowweges, heh!
We made two quick trips this summer, long weekends in Victoria and Portland, to explore possible college towns for the boy.
Earlier in the summer, we toured the University of Victoria, and came away with great impressions of the campus and area.
Later in the summer, we didn’t fare as well. Colleges were closed up, so we just explored the attractions, like this don’t-miss donut shop, filming locations for the TV show Grimm, and campuses that host farmers’ markets, like Portland State.
Next up: Vancouver (Simon Fraser!) and likely, a trip south, timed to offset our gray winter, to UC Irvine and UC San Diego. The boy is happy on this left coast!
