We used a few days of spring break to nip down to the Bay Area to see more colleges. First up: a quick look at Stanford, which looked gorgeous in the California sun.
We used San Jose as our base camp, and ventured down twisty Highway 17 to UC Santa Cruz next. 
After a tour through the trees and hills of campus, we headed down to the bay and found these seals barking on the pier.
Our last stop was UC Berkeley, on the way out of town. We experienced Bay Area rush hour traffic in full force: wow, lots of freeways to choose from!
