We were delighted to accept invitations to a wedding at the SkyChurch in the Experience Music Project. One of Dave’s work buddies, also a Waterloo alum, got married to his sweetie in real style, with great music and food, and access to the museum for all of us.
We had a great time catching up, making new connections, and exploring the exhibits. Bruce and I jammed in the Sound Lab and were impressed by the sci-fi memorabilia. Everyone was oohing and ahhing together! I’d never been in the place before, but suddenly, surrounded by like-minded geeks, the combo of music and science fiction didn’t seem so odd.
