Liz’s Art

I had a great year of focusing on art. If you haven’t been following along on my art site, here are some highlights.

First, my latest work, all digital, is now on display at Sightline Institute, in downtown Seattle, through December. All the pieces were rendered as prints on canvas first, through ImageKind.com.

Next, I answered a call for Twitter artists. I’ve found a wonderful community of artists on Twitter who, like me, want to share their work and progress. One of them, David Sandum, had a fabulous idea. He’s asked all his Twitter friends (and their friends, and so on…) to submit postcard art for a global show. He’ll be displaying the works at his local library in Moss, Norway, who will benefit from the proceeds. I’ve submitted this piece, printed as a card, and it will hang with over 200 other postcard-sized original pieces next month.

Calendar of my work, on redbubble.comTo top off the year, I joined a local art association, artEAST, am helping with some of their online needs, have been in two member shows there, and my work is hanging in the associated UP Front gallery. I’m excited to be a part of this great group of artists.
My most recent work is now available at RedBubble, which looks to be a great artist community with some fun format options. I think my favorite is the calendar!

I’m looking forward to continuing the momentum next year.
