Chester

We stopped in Chester for a couple of nights, long enough to explore the town. It’s a busy, compact, walled city — a great place to walk and shop. While it was bustling earlier, this shot was taken during England’s final World Cup game. Everyone was tucked into pubs, lamenting the refereeing.
