The last two applications went on their way through the ether last night. Our boy is done! Done applying to college, writing essays, tracking down timelines (When did I start piano? No, they need the DAY!), all DONE.

- Tufts University: Waitlist
- University of California, Berkeley: Waitlist

His plan is to study a mix of psychology, computer science, linguistics, and philosophy, often called cognitive science, which can be applied to the high-level, people end of computer use, rather than the low-down hardware end. We’ll start to hear back on decisions in the last week of March, and he’ll make a final decision by the end of April.
Update (24 Feb): An early notice of acceptance at UBC!
Update (12 Mar): A phone call from UCSD: he’s in!
Update (20 Mar): UCLA: yes! Pomona declines.
Update (21 Mar): Occidental is a big YES with a Presidential Scholar award!
Update (27 Mar): Waitlisted at Berkeley; a decline from Stanford.
