We welcomed Dave to his second half-century and finished out his big birthday month at the same time. After celebrating the actual day mid-month with some decent skiing at Whistler, we booked a party room for the last day of February and invited whoever was in town to join us.
We all wore nametags with the year we met Dave — if we could remember — then tried to answer quizzes about Canada, and figure out who else was turning 50. Laminated coasters, spread over the tables, had pictures of products & people all from 1965, but good thing the names were on the back!
